You'll find them clustered on the mountain side of the road, above Puente Romano — Las Lomas del Marbella Club and its pueblo-style enclave, Jardines de las Lomas, Altos de Puente Romano — and in the more contemporary collections nearer Sierra Blanca and Nagüeles. They share one party wall, sit in a community with pool and gardens, and trade a little privacy for shorter maintenance and a price well below a free-standing villa on the same street.

Most run to three or four bedrooms over two or three levels, often with a basement and a solarium, typically somewhere between 190 and 260 square metres built on a modest private plot or terrace.
